Beaches - North

Victoria Beach:
Has restricted areas that can only be used by pedestrians and cyclists during the summer months

Albert Beach:
This is a vintage cottage area with a lovely beach

Hillside Beach:
Is only 15 minutes away from Grand Beach, with a long sandy beach. 

Belair:
Is located on the western end of Belair Provincial Forest on a rocky coast line.

Lester Beach:
Located just south of Belair (use the Belair exit and go west and then south). 
Belair: is location on the western end of Belair Provincial Forest on a rocky coast line.

Traverse Bay:

I is located at the mouth of the Winnipeg river between Elk Island and Devil’s Island, with cottages along the western shore of the bay up to Albert Beach.

Beaches - South

Grand Beach:
Is located along the east shore of Lake Winnipeg, north of the city of Winnipeg in the Grand Beach Provincial Park, one hour away from the city of Winnipeg (highway 59 north and then highway 12 north).  There are three kilometres of fine white sand beach, with concession stands, volleyball courts, sandbars and sand dunes.  The park also has tennis courts, a skateboard park, and has several hiking trails, including Spirit Rock Trail, Wild Wings Trail and the Ancient Beach Trail.  Other features include a campground, outdoor amphitheatre, picnic shelters, a restaurant, and concession services.

Grand Marais:
The “Big Marsh” is along Lake Winnipeg, north of the city of Winnipeg in the R.M. of St. Clements, approximately one hour from Winnipeg, and has a beautiful sunset view.

Beaconia Beach:
Is a small, natural beach, located along Lake Winnipeg, north of the city of Winnipeg in the R.M. of St. Clements, with an area often used as a “clothing optional beach”.

Patricia Beach:
Is located  along Lake Winnipeg, north of the city of Winnipeg in the R.M. of St. Clements, in the Patricia Beach Provincial Park, off highway 59.  This is a pretty, natural beach with wildlife and marshes.  This park has washrooms, change rooms, a food concession, picnic tables, fire pits and drinking water taps.

Brokenhead Ojibway Nation Bingo Hall:
Located at 2 Bear Rd., Scanterbury, Manitoba.


Grand Marais Recreational Centre:
Bingo on Tuesday nights at the Recreational Centre, Grand Marasis.

South Beach Casino:
Located north of Winnipeg on highway 59, and includes a variety of games, restaurants, lounge and hotel.

Parks

Elk Island Provincial Park:
Elk Island is located just north of Victoria Beach and a popular destination for many outdoors enthusiasts.

Grand Beach Provincial Park:
Is along the east side of Lake Winnipeg with fine white sand beaches, sand dunes, hiking trails and a lagoon.  The park includes a campground, amphitheatre, picnic shelters, tennis courts and skateboard park, picnic areas and concession services.  Favorite activities include windsurfing, swimming, canoeing, boating, and picnics.

 
Patricia Beach Provincial Park:
Is located south of Grand Beach, and is a small, family-friendly recreational park.  Amenities include washrooms, picnic areas and a concession stand.
